The project started with designing the hull and creating the lines plan in Rhino. This process went through a couple of iteration to refine the hull lines, optimizing the vessel for ocean crossings.

Once the hull design was complete, the vessel's interior was drawn. The design brief stipulated that there must be berthing for 4 people, 2 heads, a galley, and storage for 5 weeks of supplies. With this in mind, the vessel was designed with a large master stateroom fwd, and a smaller guest stateroom aft. The galley and saloon areas were designed to feel open, while maintaining plenty of hand holds to ensure comfort and safety at sea. Next to the guest stateroom is a designated workshop and storage area, as well as a hanging locker for foul weather gear. The vessel is also designed with a dinghy garage, holding a small RIB and outboard motor.

The vessel's rig was designed to comply with the Nordic Boat Standard, to ensure reliability in the roughest conditions. A comprehensive Excel Workbook was created for this task, and the associated drawings were made using Rhino and AutoCAD.
